Purpose of StayRelevant
StayRelevant is a service for individual users (B2C) who want to gain insight into how technological developments, and artificial intelligence (AI) in particular, affect work and careers. The purpose of StayRelevant is to help people reflect on their career position and possible development directions by making changes in value, tasks, and responsibilities understandable. StayRelevant does not predict job outcomes or career success and does not make decisions about individuals.
StayRelevant generates revenue through paid analyses and reports for individual users. The paid version offers deeper and more personalised insight based on information provided by the user.
StayRelevant is based in the Netherlands and is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement.
How the StayRelevant model works
StayRelevant uses an analytical approach that looks at careers over time. Rather than focusing solely on job titles, the model considers underlying tasks, responsibilities, learning and adaptation patterns, and the context in which a person works. The model describes how AI changes tasks and value creation and translates this into a personal, explainable report. The model is intended for insight and interpretation, not for evaluation, selection, or automated decision-making.
Free version
In the free version, StayRelevant processes only limited information that the user provides directly, such as answers to short questions or basic profile information. In addition, anonymised usage data may be collected, for example about how the website is used, to improve the service. In the free version, no CVs are uploaded and no extensive personal data is stored or analysed.
Paid version
In the paid version, StayRelevant processes additional information such as a CV, career history, and responses to assessments or reflection questions. These data are processed only after the user has given explicit consent and solely for the purpose of generating a personal StayRelevant report.
Personal data are not sold and are not shared with third parties for commercial purposes, unless the user has explicitly and separately given consent to do so. In such cases, it will always be made clear for what purpose and in what way the data are used.
StayRelevant does not use personal data for automated decision-making.
How we handle your data
StayRelevant processes personal data on the basis of user consent and for the performance of its services. We process only the data that are necessary, store them securely, and do not retain them longer than required.
For hosting and technical support, StayRelevant uses external data processors. These parties process data solely on behalf of StayRelevant and in accordance with our instructions.
Users always retain control over their data. They have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data and to withdraw their consent (opt-out). After a request for deletion or opt-out, personal data will be removed within a reasonable period, unless legal obligations require otherwise.
